Awards and Honors of the Class of 2025

Oakcrest School is proud to recognize the outstanding class of 2025, who graduated on Saturday, June 7, 2025. 
Valedictorian: Clare H. ‘25
Salutatorian: Colleen V. ‘25
Recognizes two members of the senior class for their consistently high academic achievements and the commitment to the ideals represented in the Portrait of an Oakcrest Graduate.

Edwina Maksym Senior Thesis Awards
Recognizes the senior theses of exceptional scholarly quality.

Evangeline H. ‘25 for her thesis, “Feet of Clay: Finding Christian Morality Through the Tragic Heroism Displayed in The Aeneid and a Farewell to Arms.”

Clare H. ‘25 for her thesis, “Faith, the Consolation of Philosophers: Embracing Life’s Deepest Questions in Hamlet and The House of Mirth”

Lilly M. ‘25 for her thesis, “Flourishing at the Intersection of Fury and Faith: Cosmic order in Homer and Melville”

Upper School Leadership: Maude P. ‘25
Recognizes leadership in many areas of upper school life that benefit the whole school. She is a leader that acts in kindness, fairness, and concern for others and who stands up for what she believes with confidence.

Service Award: Bethany D. ‘25
Recognizes a student in grade 11 or 12 for exemplary service for the Oakcrest community, demonstrating a genuine concern for the needs of others. This student has accepted responsibility, gone beyond the work assigned, taken initiative, and seeks to be asked rather than waiting to be prompted.She embodies the school’s ideals and standards.  

Excellence in Music Award: Anne G. ‘25
Recognizes a 12th grade student for consistent outstanding effort, commitment to the Oakcrest music program, and a willingness to share her musical talent and training for the betterment of our school community. 

Charger Awards:
Recognizes graduating seniors who actively supported the Oakcrest athletic department by participating in three or more varsity sports during their four years of upper school.

ROTC Recipients
The Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Scholarship is a prestigious award that covers college tuition awarded for academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to serve as an officer in the U.S. Armed Forces.
