Even as our school community has stepped up to meet the current crisis, like many institutions, Oakcrest still faces financial challenges as we finish the academic year and look to the future.

Please support our Weathering the Storm Campaign to raise $325,000 by June 30 in support of resources and tuition assistance that will ensure that we finish the year strong.

This is an ambitious goal, but one that is necessary to ride the waves of this current crisis and provide Oakcrest the support it needs at this critical time.

You can support this campaign in two ways:

  • Please join us and support our first ever Virtual Gala and Auction at 6:30 p.m. on May 29.  This free event promises to be an uplifting online opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate Oakcrest with student and faculty performances, video messages from school leadership and families and lots of virtual toasts!  I hope you’ll make plans to join us and support our effort to Weather the Storm.
As we walk this journey together as a school community we want to be sensitive to and cognizant of each person and family’s particular circumstances as we discuss Oakcrest’s continued financial needs.  If you have already contributed to Oakcrest this year and feel inspired to give again, we are very grateful for any and all sacrificial gifts.  And if you are unable to support our efforts due to personal circumstances or uncertainty, be assured that our school community is praying for you and for an end to the current crisis.

Thank You for Helping Oakcrest Weather the Storm!

The recent U.S. Stimulus includes some new benefits for donors that make charitable gifts during this unique time:

1. Individuals can now claim up to $300 in cash gifts made to charities this year as a deduction from their gross income if they take the standard deduction on their 2020 tax return, which can reduce their amount of taxable income.
2.  For those who itemize, the law lifts the cap on annual giving from 60% of adjusted gross income to 100%.
3.  For corporate charitable giving, the law raises the annual limit from 10% to 25% of taxable income.
