Over the past year, the Oakcrest Board of Directors has collected data regarding institutional strengths and weaknesses, conducted surveys and focus groups with key stakeholders, and studied peer institutions to guide the priorities of our next strategic plan. We believe that the community’s support and commitment to each of these priorities will ensure Oakcrest’s success and positive impact on students and their families for generations to come.

The success of Oakcrest's mission has always been supported by the generosity of a broad spectrum of donors who make sacrificial gifts at many levels. By supporting school priorities through current (major gifts) and future commitments (pledges and planned gifts), Oakcrest benefactors will ensure that Oakcrest continues to form women of character that seek the true, the good and the beautiful.

  • STRENGTHENING AND BROADENING OUR COMMUNITY

The Oakcrest education recognizes parents as the primary educators of their daughters and seeks to partner with them in the joyful task of raising their daughters to be women dedicated to the True, the Good, and the Beautiful.
STRATEGIC GOAL: Attract, serve, and engage more families attracted to Oakcrest’s mission.
Over the next five years, we will raise $5 million dedicated to Tuition Assistance through designated funds, general tuition support and the growth of our endowment through major gifts, pledges and/or planned giving commitments. By doing so, our community of benefactors will ensure that, over time, Oakcrest will maintain competitive tuition and provide every mission-inspired family with sufficient tuition assistance.

  • EDUCATING THE WHOLE PERSON WITH A TRUE VISION OF WOMANHOOD

Oakcrest’s rich liberal arts curriculum is at the center of our academic program and offers both depth and breadth in an array of subjects designed to spark our students’ intellectual curiosity and love of learning. An Oakcrest education aims to support human, intellectual, physical and spiritual growth to form girls that are well rounded and fully flourishing. Women are created with unique gifts. A well- educated woman knows how to use those gifts to serve society and her family.
STRATEGIC GOAL: Renew our commitment to whole person formation and enhance the value of an Oakcrest education by strengthening and enhancing our educational offerings.
Oakcrest’s campus is the physical manifestation of our noble mission. Whether in the naturally located benches for mentoring or the acoustic treatments in our instrumental and choral rooms, Oakcrest’s campus is uniquely designed to complement the education we provide for our students. In the coming years, we plan to fund more than $2 million to support campus sustainability initiatives that will maintain and beautify our campus.

Since opening in the Spring of 2023, the McGowan Family Athletic Center has contributed so much to Oakcrest’s holistic approach to women’s formation. The gymnasium and fitness center have improved athletic competition and physical fitness as our students train and compete. The additional classrooms have contributed to growth in enrollment and ongoing intellectual development. And the events, student assemblies and concerts that are now hosted there have strengthened our sense of community and school spirit. By completing the funding of the McGowan Athletic Center we can focus on other strategic funding opportunities in support of our mission.
