The Oakcrest education recognizes parents as the primary educators of their daughters and seeks to partner with them in the joyful task of raising their daughters to be women dedicated to the True, the Good, and the Beautiful.

STRATEGIC GOAL: Attract, serve, and engage more families attracted to Oakcrest’s mission.

Oakcrest’s outstanding faculty and staff are not only experts in their field but also inspiring mentors and role models for our students. They encourage the girls in their search for excellence in all areas of their ordinary lives. Our faculty and staff are vital in carrying out our mission to deliver the Oakcrest education families desire.

Oakcrest’s rich liberal arts curriculum is at the center of our academic program and offers both depth and breadth in an array of subjects designed to spark our students’ intellectual curiosity and love of learning. An Oakcrest education aims to support human, intellectual, physical, and spiritual growth to form girls who are well-rounded and fully flourishing. Women are created with unique gifts. A well-educated woman knows how to use those gifts to serve society and her family.

Oakcrest’s outstanding families make great sacrifices to give their daughters this unique educational experience. We are committed to providing access to this excellent program of education to as many young women as possible in Oakcrest’s next chapter by being good stewards of our resources.

STRATEGIC GOAL: Foster responsible stewardship of Oakcrest’s resources and ensure Oakcrest’s affordability for future students of all socioeconomic levels while maintaining sufficient resources to invest in our staff and faculty to adequately deliver the mission.

1. Grow the enrollment of mission-inspired families to the capacity that our campus allows.

2. Continue to provide generous levels of tuition assistance for families whose financial circumstances make it unduly difficult for them to pay full tuition.

3. Increase engagement with our alumnae and alumnae parents to further support the Oakcrest community.

4. Open a lower school within the next five years with the goals of growing enrollment, inspiring girls and families at earlier stages of life, and attracting and retaining faculty and staff with younger daughters.

5. Improve our parent educational programs to assist parents in navigating our rapidly changing cultural landscape, focusing on the latest research on technology use and its impact on wellness, and ensuring staff and faculty have the resources needed to support girls’ well-being.

2. Create internal and external professional development opportunities for our teachers to hone the skills they need to deliver Oakcrest’s unique education and prioritize cultivating talent from within the school.

3. Implement succession-planning strategies to ensure long-term school leadership.

4. Develop relationships with mission-aligned organizations and institutions to identify and strengthen new candidates.

1. Refine, articulate, and strengthen delivery of our curriculum rooted in the Catholic liberal arts tradition.

2. Broaden academic opportunities as part of our holistic approach to education to inspire a love of learning in our students at all academic levels.

3. Continue to develop and improve Oakcrest’s mentoring program.

4. Integrate the Christian value of freedom and responsibility in all aspects of our education in the spirit of St. Josemaría Escrivá’s educational vision.

5. Focus on celebrating what Pope St. John Paul II envisions as the “genius” of women by presenting girls with the countless expressions of femininity.

6. Bolster our commitment to our extracurricular offerings for girls to pursue their interests in the fine arts, service, and athletics. Ensure our athletics department continues to develop excellence and confidence in our student athletes.

7. Maintain our dedication to our theology curriculum which imparts a solid and deep knowledge of the Catholic faith, inspires a love for the truth, and creates an understanding of the complementarity of faith and reason to equip girls for life after Oakcrest.

1. Commit to a Strategic Financial Plan that provides a fiscally responsible framework for resource allocation and increased advancement goals.

2. Maximize use of facilities and commit to a campus conservation fund to maintain our beautiful campus.

3. Grow an endowment to keep Oakcrest affordable and remain committed to generous levels of tuition assistance and increased faculty and staff benefits.

4. Initiate limited, fully funded capital improvements including improving athletic facilities on campus, bolstering fine arts program infrastructure, and possibly acquiring properties adjacent to the Oakcrest campus.
