A long-standing Oakcrest favorite, Studio Summer invites girls to immerse themselves in a joyful, hands-on art experience. Campers explore a variety of artistic media while developing creativity, confidence, and an appreciation for beauty through painting, drawing, and crafting. Guided by Oakcrest faculty in our dedicated art spaces, students learn that creativity, play, and thoughtful craftsmanship are essential parts of a well-rounded education.

Mini Makers Clay Camp
June 22–26 | 9:00 am–12:00 pm | Rising 1st–4th
$300 before May 15

Young artists explore the creative possibilities of clay through hands-on projects that encourage imagination and problem-solving. Campers learn basic sculpting techniques while developing fine motor skills and artistic confidence, all within Oakcrest’s welcoming art facilities.

Watercolor Workshop

Students explore watercolor and colored pencil techniques while developing artistic skill and creative confidence. Guided studio instruction encourages experimentation, careful observation, and an appreciation for beauty through visual art.

Sew Much Fun! Beginning Machine Sewing
June 22–26 | 9:00 am–12:00 pm | Rising 6th–12th
$375 before May 15

Campers learn the fundamentals of machine sewing while completing practical and creative projects. With step-by-step instruction, students build independence and craftsmanship—and each camper leaves with her own sewing machine to continue her creative journey at home.

Advanced Atelier: Advanced Oil Painting Techniques

July 6–10 | 9:00 am–12:00 pm | Rising 11th–12th

Designed for advanced students, this camp guides artists from initial studies to a completed oil painting. Campers begin with watercolor studies of wood, marble, glass, and fabric, then refine technique, composition, and artistic expression through individualized instruction while working in oils with real objects.
