Varsity Basketball vs. John Paul the Great

On January 13, Oakcrest started out strong and played good defense keeping the game close at the half despite a final loss of 71-51 vs. St. John Paul the Great High School. Elisabeth led the team with 20 points and 10 rebounds and Gabby was close behind making 3 three points making a total of 15 points. Elaine sank 2 threes and shot 100% from the free-throw line to get a total of 8 points for the night. On January 21, the Varsity team hosted Calvary Temple Christian School in their first home game of the new year. The Chargers were led by a trio of scorers—Gabby (4), Elisabeth (12) and Elaine (11). Strong rebounding and team defense helped the team lead the whole game.
