In the Fall of 2018, the year after settling into our beautiful new campus, Oakcrest launched the Dreams for Her Future campaign. The goals of this 5-year integrated campaign were to promote growth in our Annual Fund, create an endowment and set-aside funds for tuition assistance and special projects, expand planned giving commitments, and continue
capital expenditures to support faculty and enrollment growth. Thanks to the generous response to this campaign, we have fulfilled many dreams which put Oakcrest in a strong position as we move toward our 50th Anniversary in 2026.

Over the last five years our Annual Fund has grown by 40%, which has helped keep our tuition competitive and allowed us to offer tuition assistance to a growing number of families. It has allowed for the purchase of textbooks for every student, and academic and athletic resources that help our students thrive as our enrollment has continued to grow. The Annual Fund continues to fund our science, arts, and theater programs that prepare our students for the future.

The Dreams for Her Future campaign also inspired many generous benefactors to aid us in creating special funds and projects that benefit our community. We established the Dorothy E. Duffy Endowment Fund, the first endowment in Oakcrest’s history. Chapel enhancements like the statue of St. Josemaria and the painting of the Holy Family uplift students’ spiritual growth. Field improvements and new scoreboards were added for our growing athletics program. Special funds were created for tuition assistance and faculty professional development. Most significantly, benefactors made commitments of more than $2.3 million in their estate plans that will benefit Oakcrest in the future.

Finally, the Dreams for Her Future campaign inspired many generous gifts that have contributed to Oakcrest’s capital expansion. In the summer of 2019, by completing the second floor of the West Wing, we were able to add four new classrooms, faculty offices, a new student commons, and a meeting space. In May 2023, we celebrated the opening of the McGowan Family Athletic Center which provides an additional five classrooms, trainer and coaches offices, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a beautiful new gymnasium that will benefit current and future Oakies for years to come.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we have seen many of our dreams for Oakcrest become a reality. We are grateful to everyone who has made financial contributions during this exciting time in our history.
