Cross Country Coaches

Work closely with the coaching team to plan and execute practices to teach athletes skills and strategies of the sport.

Plan and execute game strategies.

Attend all practices and competitions. The season begins August 19 and will end November 9.  

Be aware of and up to date on sport rules.

Help supervise athletes during practices, games and other team events. Including supervising until all athletes have been picked up from the event.

Abide by and promote sound ethics according to the mission and philosophy of Oakcrest School.

If necessary, discuss any issues that arise during sport season with athletic director.

Help determine end of season awards.

Attend the end of season awards night.

First Aid and CPR Certification

Clean background check as required by law.

Playing experience at the club or collegiate level.

Understanding of the rules and basic skills of the sport.
