Oakcrest Student Angelica P. '25 to Continue Athletic Career at Elms College

A two-sport athlete, Angelica has been a dedicated member of the Oakcrest Volleyball program since her freshman year in 2021. After starting on the freshman team, she earned her place as a libero for the Varsity team, where she has played for the past two seasons. She has also been a key contributor to the Varsity Softball team for three of her four Upper School years, helping to lead her team to a winning season and a runner-up finish in this year’s VCAC Tournament.

Angela's volleyball coach shares admiration for her work ethic and commitment: “She’s not one to miss practices, always looking to make herself, her teammates, and therefore the program better. Angelica is a great defender who is good at reading the other team and acting early.”

In addition to her achievements at Oakcrest, Angelica has spent the last two years further developing her volleyball skills through competitive club teams. She has also generously given back to the Oakcrest community, supporting younger athletes and mentoring teammates, always leading by example.

Angelica will join the Elms College Blazers as a libero or defensive specialist. She joins the many successful college bound Oakcrest student-athletes to graduate from the school.
