December 17 Updates

 

Middle School Swim joined the Varsity team at the Seton December Invitational. Several swimmers had best times in their events and 6th grader Elliott R., unofficially,  won the 100-yard backstroke.  6th graders are considered exhibition swimmers at high school events.

 

 

Varsity Swim went 4-1 at the meet; defeating Fredericksburg Christian (193-63), Fresta Valley Christian (208-46), Immanuel Christian School (209-33), and Trinity Christian School (149-131),  and narrowly losing to Seton 131-171.  Freshmen led the way: Katie A. won the 100 yds Free with a time of 1:01.89 and Catherine M. won the 100 yd breaststroke with a 5-second drop and new personal best time of 1:22.35. 

 

Varsity Basketball is currently 4-0 this season. The Chargers went 2-0 in the Madeira tournament beating Madeira twice. The Chargers won the first game 68-20 and won the Championship game 53-11. Elisabeth D. was the high scorer of the first game with 20 points. Gabby B. was the high scorer in the championship game with 14 points. The Varsity Chargers beat Calvary Temple for their first home game on Monday 56-16. Elisabeth D. was the high scorer of the game with 23 points.
