American History Through Food

American History through Food will provide girls with an introduction to key moments in American history through the culinary traditions of these respective eras. We will focus on specific time periods and trends in American history, including the settlement period, the American Revolution, and the World Wars. Each day will feature interactive activities and on the last day of the program, we will take a field trip to the Smithsonian National Museum of American History’s exhibition FOOD: Transforming the American Table.

Participants should bring a water bottle each day.
