Tuition & Aid
An Oakcrest education is a gift that will never stop giving.
An Oakcrest education is an investment in your daughter—in who she is today and who she is becoming.
We know that this is an important decision. We ask you to consider these questions:
Who is your daughter right now? What are her needs, interests, and strengths?
Who do you want her to become?
What kind of school will help her grow into that person?
If the answers to those questions point to Oakcrest, then we believe the answer is clear: an Oakcrest education is absolutely worth the investment.
The years your daughter spends at Oakcrest will shape far more than her academic preparation. They will help form the woman she becomes: her confidence, character, friendships, faith, and sense of purpose. An Oakcrest education is an investment in her, with benefits that will continue for the rest of her life.
“I appreciate that a lot of people in today’s society can’t afford to go to a school like Oakcrest and I feel very lucky that my parents and teachers are investing so much time and effort into my education.”

Applying for Tuition Assistance
Oakcrest partners with FACTS to make managing tuition simple and flexible for families. Through the FACTS platform, families can select the payment schedule that works best for them, with options for monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or full payment.
Families seeking tuition assistance can also use FACTS to complete the financial needs assessment and apply for tuition assistance. Payment plans and tuition assistance applications are managed securely through the FACTS platform.
Returning families: Login with your existing FACTS account and select “Apply for Financial Aid with FACTS” to begin your application.
New families: select the option to “Create a user name and password” in order to create an account and then follow the instructions to complete a financial aid application.
Tuition Payment Plans
Families have the option of paying tuition in full, or establishing a payment plan using FACTS. The FACTS payment plan enables families to pay all of the annual tuition (minus the $1,000 non-refundable reservation deposit), plus other school-related fees (e.g. bus service fees, lunch service fees) and the tuition refund insurance premium in monthly installments without interest charges.
Tuition Insurance
Oakcrest School offers a Tuition Refund Insurance Plan for an additional fee of 1.0% of gross tuition. Participation in this program is optional for families who pay tuition in full directly to the school, and it is required for families who elect to pay tuition monthly using the FACTS payment plan.
A Community Built by Families
Oakcrest was built by a group of families, gathering together to provide for their daughters. To this day, we are a school built by families, for families.
Unlike many schools, we rely on tuition and the generosity of our community—not on outside funding—to sustain an Oakcrest education. For this reason, we ask each family to make the greatest contribution toward tuition that their circumstances allow.
Tuition Assistance is intended to support families who have a demonstrated financial need, while ensuring that our resources are available to those who need them most. By sharing the responsibility of supporting Oakcrest, our families help strengthen the school we all call home.
“Thank you for your help and kind heart for giving us the financial aid so I can study in this Catholic school where I not only study but learn to serve.”
Sara Rueda-Ramirez ’26
“Our daughters were recipients of financial aid in the past, and now that we can give more substantially, we want to help other families take advantage of an Oakcrest education.”
Jean Beatty (Mary (Beatty ’18) McGiffin, Colleen ’18, Monica ’24, Emma ’26)
Frequently Asked Questions
Because every family’s circumstances are unique, Tuition Assistance decisions are made on a case-by-case basis and in accordance with Oakcrest’s mission. Oakcrest uses the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment methodology, along with our Tuition Assistance policy, to help determine each family’s demonstrated financial need. We consider the full picture of a family’s circumstances, including factors that may affect the ability to pay. Oakcrest may request additional documentation, such as household income and expenses, tax schedules or other tax and income records, real estate assets, savings and investments, number of dependents, special circumstances, including significant medical expenses. These documents help verify the information provided but are not considered on their own.
Tuition Assistance is awarded based on demonstrated financial need and available funds. In determining need, Oakcrest may consider factors such as household income and expenses, real estate assets, savings and investments, number of dependents, and special circumstances, including significant medical expenses. Eligibility is not determined by household income alone. Each family’s circumstances are considered individually.
Yes. Tuition Assistance awards apply to one academic year at a time. Families who wish to receive assistance in subsequent years must complete a new application for each academic year.
No. Admission and Tuition Assistance are separate processes and are reviewed by two separate committees. A family’s financial circumstances are not considered when evaluating a student for admission.
Families are expected to make a maximum and honest effort to contribute toward tuition from their available resources. Because Oakcrest has limited Tuition Assistance funds, we are not able to provide assistance to every family who qualifies, and an award may not cover the full amount of demonstrated need. If you would like your award to be reconsidered, you may write to the Director of Finance and explain the reason for your request. Reconsideration is dependent upon available funds, as other families may be waiting for funds that were not used in the initial distribution. Families may also wish to explore Education Loans through qualified organizations, such as Your Tuition Solution.
We understand that circumstances can change unexpectedly. If your family experiences a significant change outside of the regular Tuition Assistance cycle, please contact the Director of Finance to discuss your situation. The Tuition Assistance Committee will review the circumstances, with any decision dependent upon the availability of funds.
To be considered for Tuition Assistance, applications must be completed and submitted by January 8, 2027. Late applications will be reviewed as they are received and as funds allow. Only complete applications will be considered.
