Ticket sales open for Middle School Theatre Production of "Newsies, Jr."
Ticket sales have opened for Oakcrest School’s Middle School theatre production of Disney’s Newsies, Jr.. Performances will take place on Friday, February 24 and Saturday, February 25 at 7:00 pm at Ernst Theater, 8333 Little River Turnpike, Annandale, Virginia 22003.
Newsies, Jr. tells the story of newsboys who go on strike in New York City at the turn of the century due to the rising distribution prices of newspapers by publishers. With popular songs from the original movie, the show will be a family favorite. View the cast list here.
Directed by Dr. Kristin O’Malley Ricci, Oakcrest Visual and Performing Arts Master Teacher, more than 30 students will perform the production on-stage, with a strong crew supporting them behind the curtain.
Tickets can be purchased for $10. Families and groups of 6 or more can receive a 25% discount using the code OakFam. The link to the online ticket box office can be found here.
