Oakcrest announces 2022-2023 Shows

 

In the fall, the Upper School students will perform Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music. The classic family musical take place at Ernst Theater in Annandale on November 4 and 5, 2022 at 7:30 pm. The story tells of a captain and his seven children whose lives change as they welcome a new governess, Maria, a postulant at a nearby abbey. 

 

The Middle School students will perform Disney’s Newsies, Jr. on February 24 and 25, 2023 at 7:30 pm at Ernst Theater in Annandale. Based on the 1992 film and inspired by the true story of newsboys in New York City at the turn of the century, the newsies join together to fight for their rights after newspaper prices rise and the newsies struggle.
