Oakcrest was selected to be one of the Small Ensemble performances after submitting an
audition video. The Harp Circle's performance will be streamed on Friday, November 20 at 5:30 pm and on Saturday, November 21 at 10:30 am and 5:00 pm on VMEA's Facebook page.

Oakcrest’s Harp Circle welcomes students who want to sharpen their skills and those who have never played before. Besides regular meetings, Harp Circle participants perform at a variety of venues. These have included the United Nations Headquarters in New York City and the National Association of Secondary School Principals Reception in Washington, DC.

The Virginia Music Educators Association works to provide professional development opportunities for music educators, advocate on behalf of music education, foster involvement in a professional community, present students with further opportunities for learning and music making, and offer an array of useful resources.
