Chargers Qualify for VISAA State Tournament

The Chargers were seeded 5th and traveled to #4 Trinity Christian School for the quarterfinal game on Tuesday February 23rd. Athough down by 16 at halftime, the Chargers fought hard to narrow the lead.  Despite their strong comeback, the team  lost 38-45. The lead scorer of the game was Gabby Byrne with 15 points. Gabby drew quite a few fouls and went to the line to shoot 6 times. Elisabeth Dunch was second in scoring with 10 points. and Elaine-Rebecca Etter led the team with 6 rebounds.  

 

The Chargers will compete in the St. John Paul the Great Basketball Tournament this Saturday Feb. 27th.
