Swim Team Takes 4th at VISAA DII Championship

February 6—The swim team finished in 4th place at the VISAA Division II Championship meet at the Freedom Center. The team scored 158 points. 

Full meet results are posted on the team page on OakcrestConnect. Top individual scorers of the meet were: Selah (16), Helen (12), Abby (9), Ashley (7) and Grace (6). There were 20 time drops during this meet. The coaches were really impressed with everyone's swimming and competitive spirit. Highlighting the biggest time drops:
  • Louise dropped 4.61 seconds in 100 Breast
  • Julia dropped 3.87 seconds in 50 Free and another 3.07 seconds in 100 Free
  • Cecelia dropped 4.8 seconds in the 100 Fly
  • Kate dropped 17.57 in the 200 IM and 16.45 in the 100 Fly
