Latin Teacher (Full-Time)
the Catholic Church, located in Vienna, Virginia, seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher committed to and supportive of the mission of Oakcrest and the spirituality of Opus Dei to join our Foreign Language Department.
Applicants must have a strong Classics background and should be able to teach across the Latin curriculum. Our Latin curriculum, which primarily uses a combination of the grammar-translation and reading methods, emphasizes Roman antiquity, but includes Ecclesiastical Latin.

Qualified applicants should meet the following criteria:

Ability to teach a range of Latin classes, particularly at the upper school levels;

Ability to work collaboratively and in an interdisciplinary manner within the Foreign Language Department and with other departments;

Desire to involve oneself with the school and communicate effectively beyond the classroom.
