Volunteer Opportunities
Oakcrest counts on the generosity of its parents to volunteer for the many events and activities sponsored by the Development Office and by the Oakcrest Parent Association. Please consider that by offering your time, your daughter benefits because she realizes how much you care about her education and you as a parent benefit because you have an opportunity to meet other Oakcrest parents.

This is a wonderful way to meet other parents and be involved. Every talent is needed to make this event a success. This event provides a special opportunity to get involved early in the year. The Open House provides prospective students and their families a comprehensive overview of our School. The event consists of welcome remarks by the Head of the School and other faculty members followed by tours throughout the campus to meet the faculty. Parent volunteers are needed to greet prospective families and with refreshments. Help prepare the school for the holidays. Volunteers are needed to help with lighting, wreaths, trees, decorations and holiday preparations. Please, email Rebecca Maples, Volunteer Coordinator for OPA, at maples444@aim.com.
- Room Mothers Hide
Room mothers communicate with other class parents and coordinate various events and activities for parents in their daughter’s class as well as for their daughters. There are two room mothers per grade. The Room Mother Coordinator is Stacey Kuzma, her email is stacekuz@aol.com.
- Faculty and Staff Appreciation Luncheons - December and June Hide
