SERVICE AT OAKCREST SCHOOL (SOS)

One important aspect of the Oakcrest School mission is educating our students in the importance of Christian service at home, in local communities and in larger social settings. Service is at the heart of Christian leadership, whether it be as the head of service initiatives or as committed members of a group.
The Oakcrest service program has two components: one for the Middle School and one for the Upper School. Each component encourages Oakcrest girls to serve others in ways that are compatible with their personal circumstances. Oakcrest asks its students to serve at home and in their communities. Middle School students are required to perform 15 hours of service yearly.  In Upper School, the 9th students must fulfill 20 hours of service each year.  The 10th - 12th grade students have a total requirement of 25 hours.
