Veritas Award Winners Announced
Congratulations to the 2008-2009 Veritas Award recipients, current student, Alex Gadiano, and newly accepted student, Madeline Manaker! Selected from a competitive pool of applicants made up of current eighth grade students and students who had applied for admission to Oakcrest School for the ninth grade in 2008-2009, these two students were chosen as the applicants who best displayed the qualities of an Oakcrest Student including high academic achievement, leadership and character as they enter Upper School at Oakcrest.
The Veritas Award is a new award at Oakcrest and consists of $7,500 tuition remission per year for four years at Oakcrest School. This award can be renewed annually for each of the three following years at Oakcrest School through graduation, assuming that the recipient meets Award expectations. The Veritas Award recognizes up to two students who best display the qualities of an Oakcrest Student including high academic achievement, leadership and character as they enter Upper School at Oakcrest.Information on how to apply for the 2009-2010 Veritas Award will be available in the fall of 2008.

Oakcrest Wins Regional CASE III Award of Excellence for new Viewbook, Mini-viewbook, and Mailing Envelope!
Oakcrest School’s new Viewbook entry for this year’s CASE III Awards Program has received an Award of Excellence (at minimum) in the category of Student Recruitment. All Award of Excellence winners are finalists for the Grand Award in each category. The Grand Award winners will be announced at the Awards Banquet on February 19 at the CASE III Conference in Atlanta. Details to come!
