Welcome to the Oakcrest Alumnae Association Website! Whether you attended Oakcrest School on Idaho Avenue, Yuma Street or Balls Hill Road, you share a common bond with over 400 other young women – you are an “Oakie.” This distinction does not end when you receive your diploma and head out into the world. Even though your membership in the Oakcrest Alumnae Association marks the end of your time at Oakcrest as a student, it marks a new journey for you as well as for the school. With that in mind, we introduce the OAA website. This is a place where you can reconnect with former classmates, network with fellow alumnae and gain insight into the progress and growth of your alma mater.

In addition to encouraging you all to stay in touch with each other, this site will feature upcoming events at the school and other important alumnae updates. It is our hope that you will visit this site often and be able to make the most of this opportunity. Having a fully functioning alumnae association helps maintain the bonds we formed while we were students, and there is no telling where those bonds could lead in the future.

Oakcrest’s future is bright as the school continues to expand and develop, making each student’s experience here at the school a more enriching one. While growth indicates change, the one constant is the family atmosphere that has always been a special feature of Oakcrest. The administration, faculty, staff, students, family, friends and alumnae make up the Oakcrest extended family.

As we continue to develop and mature, our connection with these “family members”, especially our alumnae, becomes all the more vital.

The success of Oakcrest would not be possible without the help of those who came before. Through the OAA web page, you can access information about how to become involved in the OAA by volunteering your time and talents as well as find out about donating to Oakcrest or updating your contact information.

This website is an important reminder that you, as alumnae, continue to be connected to Oakcrest in an integral way. Upon graduation, you take with you the mission statement and the goals set forth by the school. In your daily life, you serve as a representative of the students, faculty and staff of the school. When you leave the school to embark on your life journey, we hope that your future will be filled with successes, and may you always remember that you have a home at Oakcrest.
