Opus Dei, a personal Prelature of the Catholic Church, provides guidance for the doctrinal and spiritual formation offered at Oakcrest. Latin for “Work of God”, Opus Dei puts forth the message that one’s everyday endeavors are opportunities to grow closer to God, to serve others and to improve society. At Oakcrest, this spirit promotes a commitment to academic excellence and Christian values, and an environment where girls make a difference – at school, at home and in the world at large.
